Trip Overview: Maidstone Bridge to Moore Reservoir, June 2018, three days spent on the water, 37.6 miles paddled, one portage at Gilman Dam.
For this trip we picked up where we left off the year before in the northern region at Maidstone Bridge in Stratford NH. Our plan was to end the trip at Gilman Dam in Dalton NH. In order to get the most time on the water with such a long drive we decided to forgo camping and instead stay at the Lancaster Motor Inn for the duration of the trip. The weather was looking good for this trip. Skies would be partly sunny and temperatures would be around 70°F each day with a slight breeze at our backs.
